For consideration is a very nice signed Rocky Marciano Postcard featuring the Worlds Heavyweight Champion along with a letter of provenance dated October 1, 1969 from the widowed wife Mrs. Rocky (Barbara) Marciano who resided at 2700 N . Atlantic Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, Fl, 33308. Rocky died in a plane crash on August 31, 1969 on route to Des Moines, Iowa on his 46th birthday. The bottom of the letter states P.S. “Incidentally this picture was in his suitcase where the plane crashed in Iowa.” Its open to interpretation as whether or not she is referring to the postcard or a similar photo of him.
